Jerald Wolf: The Latest!

First, I need your help! I'm going to be putting out a bi-monthly newsletter and want to know what topics interest you. I'll have a cast of indie "special guest" writers in each newsletter writing about topics that only interest you. Please write to me and let me know. Hey! It should be pretty cool...like the northern woods where this guy does his best work!

I'm currently re-recording all the songs from my "Winter's Emptiness" CD in a pro studio. The new CD should be finished by October 2008. Don't worry!!! I have many many songs an will immediately begin working on a second CD when the re-make is finished. Why am I telling you this? I'll tell you why...I'm selling the remainder of my original CDs for $8.99 each!!! I've sold close to 900, so have around 90 left...you can buy this soon to be "collector's item" right here and right now!!! But remember, there are only about 90 left, so get your order in now!!!! A concert slated for May 5, 2006 will be performed by pianist Marina Vesic at The Hall Of Culture Center in Krusevac, Serbia. It will feature 2 songs by Jerald Wolf, "You're Gone" and "Winter's Emptiness". The songs have been transformed into a classical format and will be interpereted by the singer Jovana Jovanovic. The duo is known as "Hedija", which in Turkish means "Present". Marina Vesic will also perform her own compositions including ambiental and avant-garde pieces, notably "Drawing In The Sand" , "Emotions" and "Waiting For The Sun". Miss Vesic continues studying composition and orchestration at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. She won first place in 1977 at the International Competition Of Young Composers also in Belgrade. She has also performed at the International Film Festival. Besides the music, the show will include a full screen pictorial with images of New York as well as of Jerald Wolf. Hedija will perform "New York, New York" as the shows finale...a tribute to the the great city of New York and to the cooperative efforts and friendship of Jerald Wolf. A video and CD will be forthcoming. Songs from the show will be posted on the site at a later date.

finally...Jerald Wolf has released his first solo CD...there have been others, but that was from a time that seems an eternity ago and we would rather not remember, with names and faces from the past that will remain there for all times... the party was private and held at a woodsy estate somewhere up north by the Canadian border... a few close people from the all walks of life made their appearance...the NYC band JL Tunes performed and Jerald sang a few songs from his CD...since he's out of the studio, Jerald promises to get back on the road and start playing live again very soon...so watch for upcoming shows right here...
